Delivery and Returns

We are delighted that you have chosen to order our delicious chocolate. If it’s for a gift, please let us know – and we hope you will also order some for yourself!

We want you to receive your chocolate in perfect condition, as soon as possible, so please read on carefully.

Please note that if you are ordering from OVERSEAS, please do not order from our online shop, but email your order to info@rowdyandfancyschocolate.co.uk and we can arrange delivery by weight. Please note that we only accept payment through a UK bank (BACS or cheque) prior to delivery.

After you place your order, you will receive a confirmation of order and an order reference number. Please contact us immediately if the order confirmation is incorrect as this cannot be corrected after despatch. You will receive a despatch note on the day that your order is despatched.

You will be required to pay for your order PRIOR to despatch, either online through our secure Shop or via BACS.

We create chocolate in small batches, and it is possible that the items you order will be out of stock, in which case we will notify you via email. We will not replace an out of stock item with another item without your prior agreement.

All of the above depends upon you providing us with your correct contact details! Please be sure that your email address is accurate. We will process your order whether or not we are able to contact you at the email address given by you to us, and your non-receipt of the confirmation and/or despatch notes via email will not invalidate your order, for which you will be charged prior to despatch.

We do not despatch without a full address including a FULL POSTCODE, telephone number and email address. We do not despatch to PO Box addresses. If any details supplied to us are incorrect and an order is lost, damaged or redirected, we are not liable for that order or for any costs incurred.

Orders received will be despatched between Monday and Friday, excluding bank holidays. We cannot guarantee delivery on a given day although we use our best endeavours to ensure delivery within five working days.

Your order will be sent by First Class Post (if under 2kg inc. P&P) or by Courier. You may be out when our courier delivers, so please leave us instructions for a safe place where your package may be left in your absence. Please note that if your designated ‘safe place’ is too cold or too warm, the chocolate may suffer damage for which we will not be liable.

Chocolate suffers from temperature extremes. In extreme weather, we reserve the right to delay your order in order to protect the product and we will notify you accordingly. If you want us to despatch despite extremes of heat or cold, we are no longer liable for the product’s condition on arrival.

Please check your order on receipt. If your order has been damaged in transit, please notify us within 24 hours, after which we may not liable for any damage to the product or packaging.

If your order fails to arrive within five working days please notify us immediately.

RETURNED PARCELS: If your parcel should be returned to us due to incomplete delivery information, or if the courier is unable to leave the package in your absence, we will inform you as soon as possible, and you will be liable for a re send fee of £5.

RETURNS

We hope that you will love our chocolate as much as we do. However, if you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it at your expense within seven days from the date of receipt, telling us why you are not happy with your order. If your chocolate is returned in its original packaging, and it is clear that you have consumed only enough to form grounds for dissatisfaction, we will be happy to refund the cost of the product plus post and packaging; alternatively we will replace the product with post & packaging at our expense. In the event that the chocolate is returned without its packaging and more has been consumed than is reasonable to establish dissatisfaction, we will not be liable for replacement or refund.

PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us. We will never disclose your name, address, or any contact information to any third party, unless required to do so by law. We will keep your name and contact details for our own records unless you indicate otherwise.
